About Blake
Blake is the GM of April Sound Country Club. Blake moved to The Woodlands area in 2008 from Las Vegas where he was managing Las Vegas National Golf Club to join the Invited team. Blake has managed multiple courses in North Houston including Willow Creek, Hearthstone Country Club, The Golf Trails of The Woodlands and The Clubs of Kingwood.
Blake Roberts joined the April Sound team from The Clubs of Kingwood, where he was General Manager from 2017 to 2020. Blake helped rebuild Kingwood after Hurricane Harvey destroyed the Club’s facilities. He joined the Club just five days before the hurricane hit, requiring him to take on not just running the Club, but also successfully managing a two-year, $50 million reconstruction project.
Blake’s 22-year career includes managing both public and private golf clubs. He is a graduate of Texas A&M University, where he studied Agricultural Business. Blake is a proud husband to wife, Michelle, and a proud father to his children, Connor and Cassidy.
